In Astral Ascent you can play solo or in local co-op mode. All this allows us not only to face more and more challenges, but also to adjust the character to the individual style of play. In addition, in the game world we encounter altars and artifacts that give us various buffs. Other powers and the so-called gambits, which provide our spells with additional effects, can be found in chests or purchased from merchants, exchanging crystals acquired along the way.

Individual attacks can (and even must) be combined into spectacular and deadly combinations. Spells are divided into three types in addition to the main and defensive spells, common to all heroes, on the battlefield we use spells available only to specific characters. Discovering them and using them skillfully is the key to success.Д«attles are dynamic and during them we have to show dexterity and reflexes and make good use of a variety of spells. Each of them has different abilities and fights in his own way, as well as has an individual set of strengths and weaknesses. We also regularly get to the arenas, where we face new guards who act as bosses. The rooms are different locations which we wander by dashing to the right, jumping on platforms and avoiding traps, fighting with enemies and facing specially prepared challenges.

The game world is made up of four biomes and each of them is divided into twelve rooms.
